Who doesn't like well seasoned food? Watch any food network show and you'll find a judge saying "Not enough salt or pepper" about a contestant's dish. In Romans 7:18 Paul says "I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells." Once we come to the realization that we need help with this thing called "sin," everything changes. We are encouraged to read in 1 Cor. 6:11 "But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
As believers who have received Christ into our hearts, we are told in Colossians 2:10 that "you are complete in Him." Let that sink in for a second. Nothing needs to be added or subtracted like being smart enough, attractive enough, nice enough or financially stable enough. With Christ, we are complete! That gives us the freedom and ability to be salty, sparkly and shiny for Christ through His Spirit. Make someone want to ask you why your life is so different and then tell them the best news they will ever hear about God sending His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins.

Have a great day!
