Don’t sweat the details. That is advice that is definitely easier said than done. We tend to be all about the details and at times get so caught up in them we can lose sight of the big picture. Back in Noah’s day, God asked Noah to build an ark and fill it with every kind of food for his family as well as the animals coming along for the cruise. Genesis 6:22 says “And Noah did this. He did everything that God had commanded him.” Have you ever wondered about the mass roundup of the animal kingdom? After all, the ark has been estimated to hold almost 45,000 animals. This was a detail God simply took care of. Noah and his family built the ark and God filled it. Instead of worrying about details that are out of our control, let’s surrender them to God. We can focus on things within our control that include our attitude, relationships and responsibilities.
“Concentrate on what God has given you to do, and leave the rest to God.” (Tyndale: Life Application Study Bible: Holman Christian Standard Bible)
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:27-28
“People who are really efficient seem to do things easily, with a minimum of effort. In so doing they release maximum power.” (Norman Vincent Peale: Positive Thinking Everyday)
This song reminds us we have someone that is fighting for us and we should walk with our head held high!
Fighting for You - Tenth Avenue North
“Start walking with your head held high The future is bright Heaven's gates are open wide Every trouble that you ever walk through Peace, my child I am, I am fighting for you, you I am fighting for you”
Have a great day!
