It usually doesn’t take more than reading a few words in the Bible to hear God speaking encouraging words to the very last thing he created in the beginning, You and me. Try reading these verses and not feel treasured and loved by our Almighty Creator.
“You all are fair, my love, and there is no spot in you.”
“Be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”
“You are complete in Him. Perfect in Christ Jesus.”
This is all possible because of the terrible price Christ paid on the cross for our sins. Next time you look in the mirror, instead of seeing your old self, I pray you see someone who is washed, sanctified and justified “in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”
“Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the body of Christ so that you may belong to another. You belong to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God.” (Romans 7:4)
“And then I would hear him say; “Lord, You turn the wheels of the galaxies. You know what makes the planets spin and You know what makes this watch run.” (Corrie Ten Boom - The Hiding Place)
